Are My Aesop ID and PIN Safe?
Your Aesop ID and PIN are safer with us than writing them on a piece of paper or Post-it next to your computer. We encrypt all your personal information that we transmit over the Internet, and we store it on a computer in a secure data center. Furthermore, only you may access your Aesop ID and PIN; Wasubi staff may not access this information.
How Do I Know That Wasubi Is Working Properly?
We monitor Wasubi 24x7, and receive a notification as soon as a problem arises. If for some reason, Wasubi is down for any length of time, we’ll notify you.

We’ll send you a message when we activate your subscription. If you don’t receive a message from us within two business days of signing up, please
contact us; otherwise, see the next question.
Why Haven't I Received Any Assignment Alerts Lately?
More than likely, Aesop hasn’t had any assignments available for you. If you think this isn’t the case, log in to Aesop and confirm any notifications. Wasubi can’t check Aesop for assignments while Aesop has pending notifications for you. If Aesop doesn’t have any notifications for you, then verify your Aesop Account Info on your
account page. If your information is accurate, then please
let us know.
How Do I Change My Subscription From a Monthly Subscription to an Annual Subscription?
You can change your subscription on your
account page.
Do I Have to Cancel My Subscription at the End of the School Year and Sign Up Again at the Beginning of the School Year?
For monthly subscribers, we provide you with the option of temporarily pausing your subscription. You can select this option on your
account page. For annual subscribers, the price assumes you don’t teach during the summer.
Do I Need a PayPal Account to Use Wasubi?
If you wish to purchase a Monthly subscription to Wasubi, you will need to sign up for a PayPal account. To process your Wasubi subscription on a monthly basis, PayPal needs to keep your credit card or bank information on file. They cannot do that if you don’t have an account.
We trust PayPal as our payment partner and believe they are the safest way to shop online. PayPal offers their account holders numerous security features, including protection against fraudulent purchases. Learn more about PayPal's security measures here.
If you do not wish to create a PayPal account, you may pay by check by completing this form and mailing it to us. Please note: we can only accept check payments for Annual subscriptions.
Why Won't Wasubi Automatically Accept Assignments for Me?
It is a violation of Aesop’s User License Agreement to automatically accept job assignments. The Agreeement states, “User shall not employ any type of software, hardware, “bots” or any devices or methods of any kind which operate (on behalf of User) to automatically accept jobs within Aesop®.” We don't want you to lose your access to Aesop, so we haven't included this feature.
It's Taking a Long Time to Receive My Wasubi Alerts. What's Happening?
Some Wasubi users (most noticeably AT&T subscribers) experience a pronounced lag between the time Wasubi sends a text message and the time they receive it. As this is a critical factor in getting assignments, we have developed some ways around this problem. If you believe you are experiencing these lag times, please contact us, and we will work to ensure you receive Wasubi Alerts as quickly as possible.
What Programs Does Wasubi Work With?
Wasubi works with any substitute staffing program based on the Aesop system. These include Kelly Educational Services, Professional Education Services Group (PESG) and Source 4 Teachers.
How Do I Accept an Assignment Once I've Received a Wasubi Alert?
Because Aesop's User Agreement strictly prohibits the auto-acceptance of assignments, you still have to manually accept these. We recommend keeping your school district on speed dial. Then, when a Wasubi Alert comes in, you can accept the position immediately.
